Lisa is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200-hour level, with training through the Yogafit program in Hermosa Beach, California. She is closing to completing her 500-hour certification. In 2010, she completed a second 200-hour program in Kundalini yoga. She has an eclectic background in fitness that gives her the skills to address the needs of many client populations. Lisa teaches Hatha, Hatha Flow, and Kundalini classes. In her classes students set their own intention and work where they are comfortable, allowing their practice to meet them just where they are that day. “Anyone can participate in my class and make it their own. We gently prepare the body, then work to our edge and then spend time enhancing strength and flexibility, using the breath and postures to bridge the mind, body, soul and spirit.” Lisa loves introducing beginners to the benefits of Yoga and helping to guide them on this yogic journey of discovery.
In her spare time Lisa loves to spend time with friends and family, hike, bike, read, cook, and watch movies. She loves to spend time in physical activity--mostly activities that don't require equipment but simply rely on the body and spirit.
"Yoga and Effective Communication" - Discussion Workshop

In this workshop you will learn how the principles of Yoga and Yogic philosophy can help you turn your intentions into effective and powerful communication skills. We will examine 4 limbs of Yoga (Yama, Niyama, Pranayama, and Asana) and apply them to communication challenges. You can listen and be heard while bringing the mind, body and spirit into balance.
