Libby Dembe

Libby Cox

Libby Cox is an artist and dancer whose love for the human form and movement brought her to a Hatha Yoga practice in 2000. She integrates many different teachings in her yoga instruction and considers herself a life long student, encouraging her students to do the same.

Libby was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in 2002 and completed an RYT 200 in Ashtanga Yoga in 2004. She has since had the pleasure to study myriad forms of yoga, to experience a number of teaching styles, and to travel as a featured instructor to several yoga centers throughout the United States.

With over a decade of practice and eight years of yoga teaching experience, Libby is an E-RYT 500. She has trained in vinyasa, anatomy & physiology, injury prevention in asana, pranayama, meditation practices and yoga philosophy.

This combination of studies has sustained Libby's long time love of connecting the exploration of body-mind and breath to invigorating, well-informed creative movement. She also loves the support and inspiration that grows out of being part of a yoga community, and seeks to share her love of yoga as a philosophy that nourishes the capacity for creativity and resilience on life’s paths.

Libby's Expo Workshop:

It's 2:45. Do you know where your spleen is? Knowing more about anatomy can enrich your ability to move safely and gracefully. Come study anatomy from the best resource in the field: your own body and mind. Using the principles of Embodyoga®, a yogic system designed to bring consciousness to all the tissues of the body, we will study the innate wisdom of the body and learn to move from the various body systems individually (i.e.: musculo-skeletal system, the nervous system, the circulatory system and the vestibular system)in order to create greater integration within your yoga practice.

Appropriate for all levels (including beginners.)

Do you know someone(s) who would benefit from a healthy and active lifestyle, who may not be able to attend without a sponsored pass? Please email us and let us know if we can help.
