I came to yoga in 1998, what a revelation! The best thing I have ever done for myself was to gather my courage and step into that first class. The practice of yoga has changed my life for the better in more ways than I can count, and that’s why I started teaching. I believe that anyone can practice yoga, and everyone should! I love vinyasa flow, a practice that’s light hearted and challenging, so that’s how I teach. I lead fun, high-energy classes that strike a balance between fast paced flowing movement and strong posture alignment. I strive to create a joyful and safe atmosphere, offering modifications to suit many levels of practice.
I teach yoga because I hope to share the peace and bliss that I’ve found through my personal practice with as many people as I can. I am proudly based in Austin,TX where I teach fun group classes and custom private lessons. I love travel, and yes, I would love to travel to your home town and teach in your favorite studio! I am also an inter-disciplinary theatre artist, vocalist, and a mother.
Healthy Back, Happy Heart: Back Bends for Everyone! (even people who don't back bend)

Love backbends? Hate backbends? Ever think - oh well, i just don't bend that way? Ever wonder - how the heck do i do THAT? This two hour workshop is for you! We will move and groove to some fun tunes to warm up, then dive deep into backbends of all sizes! We'll learn to cultivate a healthy spine, an open heart, and how to backbend for life without pain! (Please bring a yoga block if you have one)
