Erika Marcoux and Jenn Fairbank

Erika and Jenn founded Cornerstone: Mindfulness for Life and
wrote Companion for Life: the Foundations for Living to share
the simple message of practicing conscious compassion. They
lead events in locations all over the world, have private practices
as mindfulness teachers in Austin, and base their educational
center at Mind Body Yoga studio. They both have masters
degrees in psychology and are registered yoga teachers.

Erika is a native Austinite. Cornerstone is a continuation of her journey as a marketer, writer/editor, polarity therapist, counselor, and registered yoga instructor. Growing up, she realized the deep connection between the mind and body. This prompted her to go to graduate school for a masters in somatic (body) counseling psychology to help others. The key for her in being whole is remembering unconditional self-love and mindfulness. She can help you experience this same freedom.

Cornerstone is a continuation of Jenn’s journey as a personal trainer, yoga instructor, yoga therapy practitioner, and yoga studio business owner. As a personal trainer and yoga instructor, she was surprised by how many clients had eating disorders, were preoccupied with their body image, and had uncontrollable emotions. In order to understand the mind and body connection, she received a master’s degree in social work. To deepen work with others, she completed the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Group Facilitator Training. Everything she’s learned in this journey, she put into this program for you.

"Cornerstone: Mindfulness for Life" - Workshop

Erika and Jenn are excited to share their Cornerstone program that is comprehensive on every level. You will remember how to properly care for and understand your body. You will remember how to work with your emotions in the most intelligent of ways. You will remember your true work and purpose. You will remember awareness, which is beyond your limited thoughts, and ultimately embrace your true self with complete consciousness and compassion. The goal is to help you be a fully alive human being and remember to be true to yourself in daily life by being mindful.
